Über mich

As a Master Thesis student at IDloop Jena, I am developing a contactless fingerprint recognition system based on stereophotogrammetry, a technique that uses multiple cameras to capture the shape and texture of a 3D object. This project aims to provide a fast, accurate, and secure biometric identification solution for various applications. I am also a Photonics student at the Abbe School of Photonics, Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where I specialize in active stereophotogrammetry and 3D measurement. I have gained hands-on experience in designing and implementing optical setups for 3D reconstruction using structured illumination, acquiring 360° models of complex freeform objects, and optimizing parameters for accuracy and efficiency. I have also acquired skills in optical metrology, 3D modelling, and Python programming, which I have applied to various research projects and internships. I am passionate about exploring the potential of photonics for innovation and social impact.
